AJAX is Saving Bandwidth and Server Load | January 16th, 2006

Yes!  More people are starting to discuss the benefits of AJAX in a quantitative way.  And the MacRumors presentation report is being discussed widely.  Seems like one of the first good case study type stories to break out.  Alexei and I looked at this a while back in our AJAX ROI article. I’ll be talking about this a bit more at MooseCamp and the OSCMS Summit in Vancouver in February.

Hey Andre. Thanks for pointing me to OSCMS Summit (although I won’t be able to participate). Any change that you will publish notes from your talk on AJAX and usability?

    Hi Jesper,

I can definitely post what notes I’ll have from the discussion. As I understand the organizers of the OSCMS Summit want the sessions to have a high level of participation from everyone, so I’ll be acting as moderator by leading the discussion rather than just presenting. But I’m sure I’ll be able to post notes from that or a few slides. We’ll see. Thanks for remindinging me.
