ActionMailer – Ruby on Rails

Was stuggling with ActionMailer today (a little). Went to several online and offline resources. Found this tutorial to be among the better ones:

This is a good tutorial, but you have to make sure that you’re running Rails 1.2. If your host or rails environment is still Rails 1.1, you may run into issues where this doesn’t work, and you have to use server_settings instead of smtp_settings.
