i have code that updates a database and is successfully called by the grid:

i have found that when the page hosting the control is first loaded and i modify a column (say the 'Escrow' column) in any row and then modify a different row and different column and then click save the first row is not passed into the fucntion above, no update occurs. the second row modified is and so the changes are save.
the way i determined this is setting a breakpoint on disk_image.Update()...it is only being hit once instead of twice.
Any ideas? this is with build 3.5.5905 |

| Any idea what the XML looks like that's being passed into this function? I'm wondering if its an issue of the deleted entry not being added to the changeLog, or if it's an issue with the function just not reading it. |

i haven't heard anything on this...is a matter of getting the XML just doing a view source on the page? Do i do this after the modification?

Eric, use the "Fiddler" application to look at the XML data being sent to and from your web page. It essentially logs all your http traffic, so will capture the xml data being sent to and from the web page's AJAX components. Nitobi has a knowledgebase article on how to use it here:

By the way, I think I saw the same issue during my testing at one point, but have not yet tried to reproduce it. I'd be interested to see if you can reproduce it and what Nitobi finds with their testing. |

I changed the the 1st row 'ESC' column (it is a bit field - i set it from False to True).
I then changed the 6th row bank value to 'AK USA'.

i found that if i load the page, then hit the refresh button on the Nitobi control, i don't see this bug.
I will keep messing with this a bit. |

I can consistantly repro the original bug...which means my customer will also, unfortunately...anyone come up with anything on this?
Pressing the refresh button is an inconsistant fix, it doesn't always work

Interesting. I got that version number from the nitobi.grid.js file on their "Live Demos" page, and assumed that the same version of the grid was available for user download. Apparently not...
I'm guessing that version 5937 will be available soon. Thanks for checking the status of the bug on version 5905 though. I'm going to do some of my own testing tomorrow. |

Hello.
I just downloaded Q3 (build 3.5.6087) and i am still seeing this problem. The customer is now using the product and i get to hear about - when is this going to be fixed.
I have had some follow up with support staff and have supplied everything to try and show the repro, but don't seem to get resolution.
What can i do to get this fixed? |
