Hi there,
This will likely be a feature in our next release, thanks for the input.

I'm not sure what the behavior was like in previous versions (currently evaluating a purchase), but is it possible to turn this behavior off? E.g., start cell editing on the first click if the cell is editable?
Additionally, when a cell is in Edit mode and the Tab key is pressed, that cell should be saved, focus should move to the next editable cell also into Edit mode. This would make it a lot more viable to use with the keyboard.
Any way to get this functionality at the present time?
Thanks,

To save a cell on exit, turn on autosave.
Not sure what version you are using, but just look it up in your docs. |

Sorry I think you misunderstood my post (I am aware of the autosave property).
What I would like is for the the cells to remain in Editable mode when tabbing between fields. If you are editing Field1 and hit Tab, focus should go to Field2 and it should automatically be switched to Editable mode.
Currently it takes too many mouse clicks to enter data into the grid. |
