I want to create http requests with Nitobi and take that code and drag and drop it into Dreamweaver. I have never used this software and as of yet have not found out if it can perform get and post (fetch) functions and or http requests for objects/files.
How complex can I get with Nitobi software and these functions I need performed.
Basically I need to have the software get metadata (tags) and or files form MYSQL databse and display the info in Dreamweaver in html or css.
Thanks,
Aaron |

Hi Aaron,
I hope I was able to shed some light on your questions over the phone, however in case other people have similar questions, I will repeat my answer on the forums as well.
The Complete UI components are easily interfaced with Dreamweaver. Most of the components have a wizard that guides you through setting them up properly on your web page - just drag it onto your page and fill out the fields in the wizard. More information on that can be found here:

About HTTP requests: creating, sending and retrieving information from HTTP requests is done automatically for you if you are working within the supported functionality of our components. For example, if you are listing information from your database within a Nitobi Grid component, you do not have to worry about the HTTP requests - the Grid does that for you. This does not mean that you cannot create your own HTTP requests and manipulate your web page in other ways. The Nitobi Toolkit that comes with Complete UI has functionality to create cross-browser HTTP requests, so if you want to add in your own custom functionality, you can definitely do so!
Hope that clears things up. Best!
