High Performance AJAX Tips and Tricks

Dave Johnson shares some high performance / enterprise class AJAX secret sauce over at O’Reilly’s XML.com.
From the horses mouth: “I will try to illustrate one method of benchmarking your AJAX applications as well as point out some of the major performance pitfalls I have encountered while developing AJAX components and applications.”
Tuning AJAX is a great read and I expect a lot more developers talking and thinking how to build high performance and scalable web apps with AJAX UIs. Dave’s approach to benchmarking is quite helpful.
I wonder if anyone has started benchmarking the multitude of AJAX frameworks and component libraries? Maybe some like AjaxInfo or AjaxPatterns should take this on…eh guys? Waddya say?
The article is a great read, but I have to say that because Dave’s a good friend and I work with him;-)
