When money is tight, technical innovation is a bright light

It's not that all the successes are small and nimble companies, but that just happens to be the case with Nitobi, a Vancouver software development company that this week won the Launch Pad Competition at Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco with PhoneGap, a free and open-source development framework for building applications for the iPhone, Google Android, the BlackBerry and other mobile devices.
