Technical Overview

Nitobi Grid V3 is a JavaScript and DHTML software component. It can be used in both bound and un-bound modes. The Grid accepts an XML datasource and does not require a server platform. Although Grid can be server platform independent, as with all Ajax components, end-users will have to meet minimum browser requirements.

Server-Platform Requirements

To use the native server-side XML libraries, you must be using one of the following platforms.

• Java JDK 1.4+
• Active Server Pages 3.0 (ASP)
• PHP 4+
• ASP.NET 1.1, 2.0
• Coldfusion MX
• Java Server Faces (JSF) (Coming in 3.5)
